Consultants: Bob Tassone
J. Robert Tassone joined Kazan International as the Managing Director of our Seattle office. Bob is focused on the expansion of our Biotech and Healthcare practice in the Northwest and heads our Global Information Systems and Technology practice internationally. Bob began his career with IBM where he spent 18 years in assignments in both domestic and international divisions. He brings over thirty years experience in the information systems and emerging technology sector spanning Fortune 50 and high technology start-up companies. Bob has held numerous leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations and business development.
After his years at IBM in senior marketing assignments, Bob joined Digital Equipment and Compaq as Global Accounts Vice President and other key roles. He then became the General Manager of U.S. Sales for Rhythms NetConnections, a provider of DSL broadband communications services. In 1999, Rhythms became the sixth most successful IPO in NASDAQ's history.
Prior to joining Kazan International, Bob was Vice President-Strategic Alliances for Jamcracker, Incorporated, a pre-IPO provider of Web-enabled IT and Business services applications. During his time at Jamcracker, Bob initiated successful alliances with Accenture, TELUS and a number of other technology companies.
Bob is a native of Youngstown, Ohio and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State University where he majored in Business Administration with a minor in English.
